Privacy Policy

Storydoodle ("we", "the app") turns photos of children's drawings into short animated videos. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. We built Storydoodle to collect as little as possible: no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

What we collect and why

• Photos of drawings. When you tap "Make the magic", the photo you chose is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our AI processing provider, fal.ai, to detect what was drawn and to generate the animation. The photo is used only to produce your result and is not retained by us.
• Child's first name (optional). If you type a name, it is used only to compose the story text shown in the app. It stays on your device and is never sent to our servers or stored by us.
• Your Storybook. The videos and drawings you save are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

What we do NOT do

• No user accounts and no sign-in.
• No advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing.
• We do not use your photos or data to train AI models.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third-party processing

Animation and drawing detection are performed by fal.ai, our cloud AI provider, acting as a data processor. Photos are transmitted securely for processing only. You can review fal.ai's privacy practices at fal.ai.

Purchases

If the app offers paid credit packs, all payments are handled entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. We never see or store your payment details.

Children's privacy

Storydoodle is designed for parents and guardians, not for use by children on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The optional first name is entered by the parent and remains on the device.

Data retention

Uploaded photos exist only for the time needed to generate your animation. Everything you keep (the Storybook) lives on your device, under your control.

Your rights

Because we keep no account data, most privacy requests are satisfied automatically: your content is on your device. For any question or request, contact us and we will help.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
